Easter weekend is nearly upon us, *fist pumps the air*, so I thought I’d put together a list of a few fun things to do with the kiddies!
1. Easter Eggstravaganza, Willows Activity Farm, 19th-28th March, 10am-5pm
Why not hop down to Willows Activity Farm and meet the animals and the Easter Bunny! Catering to kiddies of all ages there’s plenty to do and see, from the arts & crafts workshops, Easter egg hunt,to listening to the story of ‘The Bunny who Found Easter’ and much more.
Along with a picnic area, restaurant, soft play area and fun fair you’ll definitely be able to spend the whole day at Willows Activity Farm.

2. Easter Egg Hunt, Capel Manor Gardens, 25th-26th March 11am-4pm
Join in with the Easter egg and bunny hunt at Capel Manor Gardens, there’ll be plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained for the whole day. As well as the egg hunt there’ll be face painting, a bouncy castle, tractor ride and biscuit decorating. You can also visit the restaurant to re-fuel and grab a hot drink.
Tickets can be purchased on the day for £5.50 (Adult), £4.50 (Children aged 2-16), £18 (Family ticket for two adults and up to three children) or you can pre-book to get 10% off
3. Baby Animals Easter Trail – Forty Hall & Estate, 26th-28th March, 11am-4pm
Suited for children aged 4-11, you can follow a trail around the beautiful Forty Hall grounds to discover where the baby animals are hiding. Once you’ve found all the animals you can finish your day by making and decorating your very own marzipan lamb ornament to take home.

4. Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood, The Dugdale Centre, 22nd-31st March
Why not take your little one to a good old fashined family pantomime to meet Robin Hood and his friends! They can ‘Boo’ the mean Sheriff of Nottingham and cheer for Robin Hood and his Maid Marion. The show involves lots of audience participation including songs and puppetry making sure your child feels like they’re a part of the adventure.
This pantomime is suitable for ages 3+

5. Railway Easter Egg Hunt, Epping Ongar Railway, 25th-28th March
Join Bertie Bunny on an Essex Easter egg hunt around Epping Railway! Armed with a list of clues, your little ones will have to locate all the eggs cleverly hidden by Bertie and any child who completes their egg sheet will receive a special Easter prize.
Remember to keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny and his special train, which you’ll be able to ride on. Finally don’t forget to get your face painted before joining the Easter Bunny at his disco to do the Bunny Hop!
