I can’t believe we’re half way through the year and June is nearly over, where is the time going? Having stumbled across Stevie’s (A Cornish Mum’s) Liked and Loved Linky I thought ‘hey what a great way to take a minute and reflect on all the things you have enjoyed in the month, so I’ve jumped on the bandwagon! Here’s my list of all the things I have Liked and Loved in June.
1. My baby boy had a birthday, he’s now a whole two years old!
Where has the time gone? We had a big party planned for baby K’s second birthday but we had a lose in the family so I felt it was a little too soon to be having a big celebration. We decided to have a small get together with our friends at home and let the kids play together, we where especially lucky as the weather was the nicest it has been so far.
2. Orange Is the New Black
Yep I have decided to jump on the band wagon and start watching ‘Orange Is the New Black’. Mr H has been sucked in to ‘Game of Thrones’ and to be honest I haven’t quite got in to it, it’s still early days I’m only on episode 4 but so far so good, it looks like I’ll have something to watch when Mr H is on night shifts!
3. Amazon Prime
I bit the bullet and paid £79 for a years subscription to Amazon Prime and I have to say I’m pretty impressed, next day delivery at no extra cost – perfect!
4. I was contacted for my first EVER review opportunity, post to follow!
The lovely people over at ihateironing got in contact asking if I’d like to try out their services in return for a review. A working mummy being offered an dry cleaning/ironing service for a review – yes please!
5. Changing baby K’s cot in to a bed
Not too long after baby K’s birthday we decided to change his bed from a cot in to, well a bed! It was almost like the child turned two and discovered his acrobatic skills by constantly trying to climb out of the cot. So off the side came, I was a little bit apprehensive thinking bed time will now be a nightmare as he realises he can now hop out of bed as he chooses but it hasn’t been too bad, thank god!
6. Sky has officially declared there is six months to Christmas
I looooooove Christmas and even though the year is going a little bit too quick I was happily surprised to switch on me TV this morning and find a “6 months to Christmas” category on their in demand section. I’m still not allowed to break out the Christmas songs, I think Mr H will divorce me, but I can secretly start planning what we’ll be doing, after all Sky says it’s OK!
So there’s all the things I have liked and loved in June, bring on July!
